Glint Era

In a reality beyond our ownΒ

Folded truth distance

Between the shelters

And all the finds

We held it hard for awhile

Forever in those moments

Honorable when it hurts

β€œDon’t be afraid of the dark in your heart”

Hug the shadow like grandma’s house

Places you lived in poverty

Now privilege and security

Grateful journey in a hopeless freedom

Until it breaks

We all break and break we will

Seeing possible connectivity

Floating flowers with lights

Hands in a hello

For a time we sit alone

Witnessing more than we could imagine

Symphonic messages in the small artifacts

Rest until it rests completely

An ultimate desire never relents

If there is nothing more than a surface

Let it be a surface

Beloved moments stirring in a benevolent ether

β€œDon’t be afraid of the dark in your heart”

Be a boat in the river floating as far as it allows

β€œIf I could I’d go with you”

β€œIn your eyes so dark and open there’s a light that leads me back to you”

Walk in the faded

Run in the glowing evenings

Wide wings with open hearts

Believe for a furthering experience

Leave what’s left to leave

Reasons without clarity intended

Crossover the divisions

Heal the gaps

Fill the opening with a wonderful mind

Wise actions wise intentions

A home is a home if you live there

Harmonious vibrations lighting up the way

Not a story to ignore or take for granted

Your own

Our own way to be

Accepted with all the scars

Secret freedoms to create

β€œDon’t be afraid of the light”

Fracturing the rough edges

Smooth shoulders under worn sheets

The underground sleeps for now

Exposure plus ten

Washed

Courage to say things

Whatever it means it is true

This scrimmage between time

An elapsing charm in each day

Rather feel warmth then a cold whisper

Sing to plants

Drink a mason of moon water

Roll the beads up and down the wrist

Blow kisses to your child

Turn it down and up and down

Swallow it whole and stand

It crashes

And so it will

And so it does

And so we are

  1. Your prose carries a deep sense of contemplation and reflection, almost like a meditative journey through the complexities of existence. It speaks to the fluid nature of reality and the intersections of life, both its light and its darkness. The recurring phrases, “Don’t be afraid of the dark in your heart” and “Don’t be afraid of the light,” add a profound layer of wisdom and acceptance.

The imagery of change, growth, and connection is beautifully interwoven throughout, creating a tapestry of thoughts and emotions. It encourages a sense of gratitude and the importance of embracing every facet of our experiences, scars and all.

Your words invite readers to explore their own path, acceptance of self, and the deeper connection to life’s continuous flow. Thank you for sharing this introspective and thought-provoking piece. πŸŒŸπŸ“
