Quiet Touch

Turning down the volume

Slowing it down to an almost nothing

Finding the answers

If only they are in the moment

Much simpler to ease through

Setting a marker to stand by

Living there regardless of loud invaders

Even when there’s no questions

House near a flag on a hill

Building a foundation with a signature

Hold steady in the truth

These embraces are to be protected

When the noise is on the opposite side

Time to carve your preparation

Words need not spoken to defend

Only to remind the blind of the solid line

Sunday a quiet friend if it has room to waken

Let them play their songs as they wish

Write new ones

A moment shared a sign

Saw miles before this point

Without ignoring souls tired efforts

One eye active and open

Most of a heart open with a small entrance to clarify

Odd how the body plays heavy metal when it knows

Loud and furious

Megaphone alarms

For once it wasn’t ignored

Real progress on a path to discover

New chapters are writing

Meet them purely without an old bag of weathered experience

Don’t forget to rest
