Passing Through

Moving through old spaces

Almost to take back what is free

Memories that scuffed the space

I walked into the store

Sat in the parking lot

Ate a banana

Asheville

Close

Felt like it did a decade before

Broken Social Scene

When there wasn’t a hovering energy

Let that force do its thing

Dance with me as I witnessed it

Let it play games

Let it wash away the fear

I watched and listened

Stood tall and let the scars move along my body

Until they came out of my head

And floated to the sky

Small actions count

And they reset the energy field

Plains that are open

Now I’m open further

And can see the names and remember the places

As they should be remembered

Simple moments

Concrete and grass

Traffic

Mountains and natural things

Places I communicate with outside the sounds

Nothing new or whatever

Just a place I come to

And now the beach

In a house close to another moment

I take back what felt good before

Breathing in

Simple twists

Upper deck watching the sunrise

The work will be with me until I am no longer

And I will always acknowledge it

For the before

In the now

And down the line with a new beginning

Things hold energy

Places and fabrics

Fabrics and places

Settings created and moved to be a scene

Move those energies

Make them your own

And then be the new invention of self

With all the beautiful poems of before

Centric

Floating

Watching the basics

Turning it all to gold

One more time

Rhythm animal vibrations

Silent servant of the night

I am with you
