Don’t Wear Shoes In The Water

I’d like to float on some water

For a time or two

Maybe an entire day

If the birds will have me

Or the sea will take me in

For just a few

And in that few the honest exchange

Respecting the significant dynamic

To see as far as it matters

But not to leave

To continue as if you could see further

Believing all the words spoken

Silently

Or if she will have me

And they will let us come back in

Peacefully

To our own existence

Without the crowding of such seas

In the inspiring art of wind

And the wings that glide

Showing us real life wishes

No others

Just a chance

Wide open

Knowing how dark it gets

The deeper we go

Toward the blurry truth

Hiding in the seaweeds

And once we come up for air

Its as natural as we are born

All we want is air

With the first view

As the hearing drastically changes

Pressure takes it’s hand off

To let go in the moment

Floating if they’ll have us float

Seeing another eye

With a world of unwritten rules

Dragons

Clouds as pictures

Dance on water you playful you
