Jagged Perfection

Saw a message on a site saying it will happen

To continue in this way and it will happen

Then it started to be its own reality

Always happening as I allow it to happen

What is happening

One day it is true

The next disappearing

As it happens

Are we waiting for it

Hope can’t be an action

Right

Maybe as it happens

Are you happening

In a long idea of things you will make happen

One for the go

In flickering moments that quickly end

Snap

It ends as it happened and so on

To another segment where we look to check in

Many words that lose vision

When it should just happen

Naturally in the natural state of things

How long can it remain maintaining

And if it is to happen

What happens next

More of the same but different

Almost better for it to never happen

Just be in this state of wonder

To make less the importance of a moment

Signifying an end to the intention

When the big surface is clearly circling your delusion

As it spins as you are still

Perceptively

Are you happening

  1. My thoughts triangulate in the realm of past, present, and future and not usually in that order. Your piece made me think about the usefulness of goals (the future), looking back for contrast (the past), and how I handle the present in terms of quality of engaging in the “process”. Thanks for your thoughts on “happening” and such.
