Winnies Addicted To Honey

Little insects floating in the water

Save or not save

Can you save them all

And how much saving does it require

While you’re saving them

Your time is elapsing

Who saves your time

Can we save ourselves and save the insects

When choices are made you get better at it

Spiders drowning and I watched the line between

Its time and my sacrifice

And the one before that

The one next to it and so on

Suckers of all shapes and sizes

Drainers specializing in draino

Singes the piping

These byproducts of turbulence

Suffering collectively

Limited time to embrace your suffering

With my own

Raise your humans

Be kind

Let insects drown rather than interrupt a meditation

It prevents your demise

Karma rewards the choice

And if not

I guess you get bad karma

House bugs you save

Bed bugs you eventually kick out

Shower spiders you let stay

Kitchen flys you let buzz

Bees you honor

Bees you get to know

Bees you work for

Bees you let be as long as they must

Futures carried in this conversation

Larger context to consider

Who is a bee

Where are the bees

Am I bee who built a hive

Can one bee be a hive

Do I live inside a hive of my making

Am I a bee killer

Abusing the honey

Like a pooh bear

  1. There is plenty in this post, yet it begged for me to get the “big picture.” Liked what I found.
