I hear a thunder when you look away

It rains briefly when you push 

On this body I carry around 

Without touching me you push me 

And they push me 

And they push and push and push 

And one day 

It won’t be there to push 

And words won’t be received 

And there will be no image to cast anger toward

There will be nothing to push 

It will be gone 

I will roar and it will be done 

I will leave this place you push 

And you can push thin air

I will swear at the sky 

And it will take me 

And you can push the empty space 

And then you can push something else

Pushing the pushing 

Push until you can’t push 

Because there is nothing left

And you see how you pushed it 

Then it dies 

Right there as you push nothing 

And the water comes alive 

Taking me to the next place

As you pushed your last push

Pushing the push 

Because pushing is what you can do 

Push buttons 

Push arrangements

Pushing bonds to the brink

As you push and push 

And they sit and let you 

Until it disappears and all the pushing erased the wonder

And the sunsets felt pushed

The flowers felt pushed

The waves got pushed

The dog was pushed 

The brother got pushed

The father got pushed into the mother 

And they both fell over 

As you pushed so hard 

Hearts broke wide open and the words spelled push 

In blood on a street I drive down 

Regularly pushing until the pushing can’t push anymore 

As you erase the sky that was colored in with passion 

Pushing the stars away

Organizing your kingdoms built from pushing 

As you pushed and pushed and push 

Until pushing was the way 

And nothing could stay 

No longer able to sustain all the pushing 

In a victory for yourself 

And now the grand finally 

You get the chance to finally

Push so much 

You push yourself to the place you feared the most

Now you’re manifesting from that place
