Habit In A Habitat

Pluck this one for them

Before it blows away

They had a grace to them

Smiling in the light thats barely present

Why I wonder so much

During our conversations

Between words

Fixed on the shapes of your face

At this stage

This age

Life is still vibrating

Every inch of possibility

Curious and play

Whats after

Around this corner

Walking in

For the first time

As I fight to stay present

I cant help but imagine

Where it goes next

As it waits

And so do I

Even though they say

Stay present

My mind is a roaring thing

Smashing the rocks

With possibility

Casting in the future

Sitting on the ground

My back is to the past

Although I am peaking

Once in awhile

Yet it shifts

Moving away

Becoming something else

Entirely

Your Thoughts
