They say the same things much of the time

Sensing their discrepancies with the moment 

Little to nothing uttered just an odd vibe 

I see you underneath that falsity 

Your jealousy 

Your bitterness

I feel your frustration behind those tired eyes

And the passive ways you try to push at the center

Without revealing your intentions 

I’ve been watching you crawl to this space for a long time

Preparing how to navigate your unfortunate mentality 

Knowing I cannot help you 

Or change you 

Or be more so you’ll be what I wish you were

I accept we do not align 

And you cannot give in to any celebration 

Without judgments 

As I at times fall in these similar traps 

And break nails clawing my way out 

In the delivery its obvious you’re avoiding 

Passively making moves 

Easy to see like a door is easy to see 

The faster we let these vibrations go

More is allowed to come in 

And I let them go before as I convince myself not to wait 

Anymore 

Any longer in your ugly storms 

Surrendered the army

Folded it up  

Left the key 

Headed out
