Breath For The Planet

Watching you breath

Deeper

Until it bursts wide open to the place

Divine plains on your shoulder

Wrapping around your arm

To the elbow

Down to your hands

That touch my face

Down through your chest

At the center

Feeling the core

Along the edge of you

The planet

End of the words

Switching to the beginning

While the memory invites itself

Splashing water

A place you go back to

Before you let it all flow

Out into the planet

Radiating this new heat

Touching souls together

An eye in the middle

The path we return to

While we design it

For ourselves

Your hands on my cheek

Staring

This fear that relents

Into a million flames

Behind our backs

Going further in

To find a way out

When it rushes over you

When it hurts

When you say enough of it

And the lights dim

Until we realize we are here

In the present

Now only now

I witness you and them

And you

You

You

Turning away to remember

Your hands on my chest

This ride is almost over

And I see it

More and more

Each day

In the trees

In the exchange

In the eyes

Spinning the last bit of it

Long yarns not so long

Anymore

While we are here

Going further in

Watching you breath

For the planet

Your Thoughts
