In 2021 I was asked to work on an Indie Horror Movie Soundtrack. The film is still not yet released. With no clear release date that I am aware of.
In the process of recording, there was a lot of discussion on what kind of sound the producer/director wanted. My partner on the film and myself had been busy recording based on their first notes about what the film should sound like. Then came the change with quite a bit of indecisiveness and confusion. To try and figure out what they wanted, I spent a weekend crafting themes along the lines of what I thought was pretty much in line from the notes they were giving. It was close but not ultimately what they were looking for.
Two years later if feels like the right time to share this demo. Hopefully the movie will come out sometime in the future so the work we did for the movie can be heard. This was a fun project to work on, albeit frustrating at times.
