Do Enjoy, I’m really happy with it. More to come in the form of a brand new album in 2017.
In the next few weeks a brand new song will come out, it’s called “LVSK”. The new tune was certainly a next level moment for me, and this project. The new album isn’t done, but with this first single I landed the direction in a significant way. For some reason some of the music has a “disco” ish feel mixed with heavy atmosphere. There you have It, my appreciation towards all the folks listening, dropping me little notes online, letting me exist inside their world in sound, means the world to me. All the best, Ryan
Make it Fit (Salt Lake City) is releasing new DJ mixes regularly and playing out like a monster, largely sticking to his ever growing vinyl collection. In todays standard of “auto sync” that should be widely appreciated. Stay Tuned for his schedule in the SLC area and the West Coast. And don’t miss his monthly residency at the Red Door, SLC.
Chicago Producer, and DJ, Adam Stolz just released his new mix, Building Impressions. If you’re into House or Techno music it doesn’t get much better than my boys taste in Dance Music. I’m currently working on a new album with him under the name Hot Butter Lunch. The recordings sound so dope. Hopefully we release later this year. Stay way tuned!
Christina has always been my biggest believer, supporter and collaborator. And Gray is a constant inspiration. The tone of the album reflects that, and also calls back to a time in my life of curious freedom and absolute content.
Soft colors, sprinkled through a valley of gray nature. From the tinges of southern rock mostly tucked behind a hazy neo-folk sound. He’s opened a window to modernity for the sake of relevancy and creativity, and that spark is now fire. Matt’s currently touring the East Tennessee area in support of Take Me Home.
I’m trying to get away from being a “reviewer” of albums or art in general. This sites not really about that anymore, rather a place to share special things out there in the massive swirl oniine. So with that said, have an adventure with the new works from Stuart Thomas.
The new album for Nomadic Firs is swimming along nicely. At this point there’s no release date. Mainly just two years of exploring sounds, and experimenting with different ideas and approaches. The hope is “texture” wins out as the main theme. And, I don’t want to let this flowering solitude squander away in some kind of reclusive obscurity. So, I’m gonna try and be out there.
I just released the new single “Sweet Hazy” for the Nomadic Firs project. I resisted for years linking this site and my own creative endeavors, but its become clear thats silly on my part. Back in October Mystic Color Faze hit the web. The new single is off that 36 track (B sides) album. Special thanks to Ann Milner for backup vocals.
The new music video from We Are the City finds the band toying with gravity as they sing “Friends Hurt.” The opening had me hooked, especially if you’re a fan of the minimal static bleep beats.
Blackbird Blackbird is back with his first single off a yet to be released album on Om Records. The video, out today, is a beautifully produced song, and the lead single for Tangerine Sky.
A lovely cerebral indie flick, the kind with long shots, pondering moments that witnesses the characters self-doubt, or profound discovery.
Like watching street lights above your head, as you drive through the inner city in your old neighborhood. As if to say, I’m home and I remember what happens here, I’m looking for it again.
The Orange Apples have released a new record filled with whimsical flourishes, carpet ride pop thats layered with a large swath of the weird. The new album, Monster Mega Mother Fucker Hit Album came out quietly in October, but a set of decent speakers will reveal the magnitude of creativity from this band.
This album will have you seeing fireworks in your living room. While the records sprinkling you like vinyl dust, tracks like “Kella” blast you away with an 80’s style Pop vocal that swirls time changing wonder dreams on the kit. They just cross you up, check the track “Better Weather” for your weird west coast off kilter thing.
