I’ve been steadily releasing new material off my next album, currently untitled. It is a body of unreleased work from 2015-2025. This new single, “Arrow Wolf Dawn” and a second song that won’t be on the album, “Flying Eyes In The Moonlight Mile”comes out May 22, 2026, this Friday.
This will be Nomadic Firs sixth album release. The untitled record contains 28 songs, currently. There is plenty of history here, memories I can remember clearly, where I was, how it felt, who was there. It’s feels right to let this material go. Its time.
The new single, “Arrow Wolf Dawn” was originally connected to a movie soundtrack I was working on around 2021. The direction of the film changed, leaving this song to just sit without a real clear direction for it. It’s a bit different than the usual sound you might hear coming from this project. Straight to the point, electronic music. Fierce in its delivery. It reminds me of Detroit after-hours parties back in the day.
The artwork was also created by me and is from a few years ago. It focuses on clean yet wild black ink and negative space.
