The brand new song is aiming to provide motion, flowering in lush, somewhat fantastical sounds. It uses texture to invoke nature. The sounds jump out of the speakers, creating a dynamic that is not flat but bubbling.
You were here before the snowman, you should run with those FEATHERS. I heard you scream so softly, echoing my name in lovely. Before you cast the judgements, see the stars above your apartment. You should run with those FEATHERS.
Do Enjoy, I’m really happy with it. More to come in the form of a brand new album in 2017.
In the next few weeks a brand new song will come out, it’s called “LVSK”.
The new album for Nomadic Firs is swimming along nicely. At this point there’s no release date. Mainly just two years of exploring sounds, and experimenting with different ideas and approaches. The hope is “texture” wins out as the main theme. And, I don’t want to let this flowering solitude squander away in some kind of reclusive obscurity. So, I’m gonna try and be out there.
I just released the new single “Sweet Hazy” for the Nomadic Firs project. I resisted for years linking this site and my own creative endeavors, but its become clear thats silly on my part. Back in October Mystic Color Faze hit the web. The new single is off that 36 track (B sides) album. Special thanks to Ann Milner for backup vocals.
Three projects coming into one to form this amazingly wonderful video. So I’m sharing it with you, I think its right, and I hope you’ll pardon the unavoidable self promotion
