I’ve been recording and releasing music for two decades, it still feels new and alive…poetic and visual. I’ve created an entire world with Nomadic Firs. One might call it my life’s work, my thesis and a way to honor our collective humanness. It’s music. But it’s not only music. It has a heartbeat, an edge, it has life experience all over it. As I go it goes, and so on.
Today, I released two new singles off the upcoming album (yet to be titled). “Fawns” and “Saw the Daylight Prefers You (Fawns Edit)”. It’s 10 years of unreleased material on the upcoming record.
This is the second single from that collection. It’s filled with a diverse set of material traversing a timeline I remember fondly, filled with people and experiences, plenty of time alone exploring this work and my other work creating. It all comes through here though. All of it, eventually, is rooted in this project.
