Out today, Outside in Your Head (Edits and Dreams) is a 30-track collection of unreleased music spanning a decade of experiments, unfinished thoughts, strange turns, and beautiful accidents, recorded between 2015 and 2025.
Part B-sides collection, part personal archive, the album moves through a wide range of sounds and ideas, weaving between electronic explorations, psychedelic pop, meditative soundscapes, and deep, atmospheric instrumentals. It’s a document of following ideas wherever they lead, playing with different production approaches, and allowing songs to become what they want to be without forcing them into a particular shape.
This music holds pieces of a life lived along the way. A special thank you to my sons, Cove and Valley, for listening to these songs for hours and hours in the background of your lives. And to my brother Lee, for all the times he let me crash on the couch on Forbes in Kalamazoo or bunk at the farm and record for weeks at a time.
I’ll never forget those moments. Many of them are on this record.
