Nomadic Firs “In It” Is Just In Time For Summer

This song marks the first release after my last album, which was the end of an era for my life. Releasing Love is Violent was me turning the page and cleaning the slate. Just a year before, I started my journey into sobriety and yoga, now I am sitting on two years…CHEERS!

It’s giving my soul a clean air and clean mind to rest in. This new song is the first thing I have released from this new path. I can tell a difference although its still relates to the other material in its own sound or universe. I have been recording quite a bit over the last two years, so there will be plenty coming out over the next year.

In the meantime, a friend of mine said it made him feel “nostalgic”, it felt good to sing and record something catchy.

    First, congratulations on two years of sobriety! I observed your determination in this effort over the last two years. You can do most anything you set your mind to, and you proved it. Second, congrats on your new album, I am listening to the sample medley of songs right now, and it sounds great. You have certainly impressed me with your prolific poetry output, not just in quantity but more importantly, quality. I however did not know you were concurrently writing music and putting it to song. A big thumbs up.

      Thank you Arbo! I really appreciate your presence and support. I figure my practice will always include these things in a cycle. I am trying to detach from it while still producing these creative moments. Who are we without our purpose?

      Also, I hope you realize how much I am who I am because of the choices Mom made to meet you North and start a life. As tough as it was, it was there I learned a work ethic, on those properties, with chores and discipline, and questions about who I wanted to be. It’ll never be pretty how it unfolds but eventually there is a faith, and you rest there. Thank you! Love ya!
