Straggled Slow Cook Alley

Straggled

Melbourne’s Straggled is starting to become an addiction for Ged Starling, and now probably me as well. At only 19, Starlings reach in the music goes far back. The new song “In The Night” reminds me of something Lou Reed might do, not the voice, just the daring nature of doubling them up, riding this very somber contemplative nature of the new song. There’s more on Ged’s soundcloud as well that will make you take notice. Take “Fatigue” with a fuller band sound, which Ged does himself. There’s such a vintage hue to this cats music, one that should be playing on a 70’s folk rock station via Pandora or something. Serious talent, serious heat.
