Nomadic Firs “Permanent Signs”

This week, a new single came out from the forthcoming (5th) album by Nomadic Firs. This project has been a place for me to share my life experience through sound. Over the years the idea behind what it means has evolved. A metaphor for human things. Nomadic (the mind), Firs (the body) has become a home for all things I have experienced and continue to understand as best I can, the art of living a full life. It has taught me more about myself and the beautiful ways we can love the makeup of our identity. How we are free to share who we are and bring a sliver of time into permanence.

“Permanent Signs” was recorded years ago and features a friend who I met through a shared community back home in Michigan. Thank you Brooke La Ruche for lending your rare voice.

Mastered by my dear friend in Chicago,  Logan Huiskamp.

Cover art was designed by me.
